2019 highlights

TESSELLATION

Today for our maths we did tessellation. My shape is an diamond made with diamonds it has reflective symmetry and tessellation but not sure with rotational symmetry. I had enjoyed making these but i was a bit lazy today so i just made something simple like this as this was easy to make

Today we went to the Te Ahu centre for the Film festival which our school submitted 2 movies for the movie competition. I was just randomly picked to go because there were extra seats for some kids. we went in a bus unless your parents were taking you home. we left around 9.45 and was on the bus for 40 - 30 mins. there was an red carpet sort of thing there so basically we were in mini Hollywood unfortunately we were not allowed to buy food so we just had to sit and wait.To be honest there were some others ones that are better than ours like trespasser for example. We had to sit in there for about an hour. It was enjoyable watching the movies

10.Cut out Road using cardboard
11.Tape edges of cut out road with paint tape
12.  Paint with black
13. Take tape off
14. Paint sides with red?
15. Assemble box for the base
16.Make the handle for the steering wheel
17 Make the steering wheel and paint it
18 Glue bottle caps on road and put holes in it
19 Hot glue gun road to cardboard box
20 Make poster for advertisement
21 Hot glue/glue Handle to steering wheel
22 Print and glue point thing

Old work 2018

This is an old slide from 2018,We made these slides for our speech last year,I didn't make it into the finals because there was some other good ones that made it.Some of this is now outdated because for example our country now has kind of removed plastic bag and replaced them with reusable bags.It was fun making the slides but it was only not fun because it had to be a speech but it was fun in the end

Notice board

Sometime this week we made community notice board. We got to make up our own notice board with our own ads on it.My one is not finished just yet but may be finished in a couple of days.We were doing this to learn about advertisement. I encountered a few problems with the background as they were in low quality but in the end i fixed the problem.I enjoyed making the notice board as i could make the most ridiculous things ever!

 Yesterday we had our annul pet day event. Pet day is our school event where you bring in pets for competition so you can get awards (Dogs cats etc)We do pet day every spring usually around September Also our class did games this year. Our group took over a another persons game that was called potty toss. Potty toss was one of the most popular games on pet day. Our game made 50$ in a few hours. I enjoyed doing games because the games were enjoyable and fun. I was proud of my Diorama because it got 3rd prize.

Today we were making movies. Our group were making a movie called cross country. It's about a person who hates cross country but he was forced to do cross country. There was heaps of challenges like people weren't listening, We had to retake shots etc. In the end we managed to get majority of the shots done. There were some downsides but it was fun overall.

I think we need to corporate a bit better and less messing around so we can get some of our scenes done and dusted. we couldn't go outside to do the cross country scene because it was pouring

Pick a path story

In writing we were writing pick a path stories. I think my pick a path story was good because i used some descriptive words and adjective also my orientation was good i think. Some thing i did well was my orientation and my descriptive writing i also should have added some dialogue

Kia Kaha Kiwi

This term we were doing our production called Kia Kaha Kiwi. In our production I was an dog in our bit of the production. The thing i liked about the production is the costumes. In the future i want to do my productions but no talking 

 

 

A tangram airplane

Today we were making tangrams to make shapes. This active was quite at first but i got easy at the end. I made a plane using Tangrams!

My Comic Storyboard

We were learning to make comic strips using Storyboard That. I was successful because i had an beginning a middle and a ending. I found this really easy and enjoyable.    

2D To 3D

We were learning to draw 3D Shapes. We were using isometric paper to draw our 3D squares.

This is way better than our previous maths way better and this was not as hard as other maths work.

This was hard at first but after a couple of tries it worked out in the end.
